The early issue of the Thanksgiving newspaper is again scheduled as an added convenience since many local stores will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and to give shoppers a head start in planning their Black Friday shopping plans ahead of time.

The Vindicator’s version of the Thanksgiving Day edition of “Early Bird”—on select Wednesday afternoon news—has quickly become a holiday tradition.

Once again, this year, Vindicator’s Thanksgiving Day issue will be packed with local deals in the form of holiday ads and ad inserts, all just in time for Black Friday holiday shopping.

“Just like the turkey, stuffing, and Thanksgiving parade at Macy’s, we know that the Thanksgiving edition of The Vindicator has also become a holiday tradition for readers getting ready to hit area retailers early Friday morning,” said Ted Snyder, general manager of the paper. .

To make sure readers have plenty of time to soak up all the deals — along with Thanksgiving dinner — and to plan out their Christmas shopping plans, the Vindicator Thanksgiving Day issue will be available after 2 p.m. on Wednesday at limited retail locations throughout Region.

“This year’s Thanksgiving issue will be filled with sales flyers totaling 120 pages,” said Snyder.

Of course, the Thursday newspaper will be updated with the latest news and sports happening throughout the day Wednesday and will be delivered to all subscribers at home as usual on Thursday, and will also be available at newsstands that remain open for the holiday on Thursday morning.

Snyder suggests subscribing to The Vindicator in order to get all the news and deals, without having to leave your house on Thanksgiving Day or risk missing out if that high-demand edition of the newspaper sells out early.

“The best way to guarantee a copy of the Thanksgiving issue is to be a subscriber at home. If you’re not, find it at your favorite retail location,” said Snyder, adding that due to the popularity of the annual Thanksgiving issue, Vindicator has increased the number of copies. available, and employees will actively restock at retail locations.
