You might look for outdoor activities like cycling. Hop on the Paul Bunyan Trail - it runs through our small town. From Brainerd to Bemidji the road is both beautiful and challenging for cyclists of all abilities.
You might be looking for an opportunity to go boating, swimming, fishing, or kayaking on one of the more than 400 lakes in Crow Wing County alone.
Every season has something to offer, so take advantage of the fall and winter seasons in Niswa. Topping the list are snowmobile trails, skiing, snowboarding, sledding, and ice skating. We have a lot to offer across the region.
This year marks the 60th anniversary of the world famous Niswa Turtle Races. For more than half a century, we’ve entertained thousands of youngsters (and the young at heart) on Wednesday afternoons during the summer months with all our fun turtle activities.
