Odell Beckham Jr. return: Best destinations for free agent WR, top teams interested

We’ve reached week 10 of the NFL season. When veteran wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr tore his AFC Champions League trophy at Super Bowl 56, an expected recovery schedule was said to have him making a comeback in November. Beckham has been visiting with teams around the league and is expected to sign somewhere in the regular season. He will bring a veteran presence to whatever team he signs up for and can act as an attack booster he joins in.

Cowboys in Dallas

On Tuesday, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he knew Beckham would look good with the Cowboys star on his helmet. This shows they have an interest in bringing him to play alongside quarterback Dak Prescott and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. Beckham immediately entered as the No. 2 wide receiver and would help Michael Gallup return to his third spot, which he had dominated in the past. With all the moves the Philadelphia Eagles have made so far in their undefeated season, Dallas Beckham could use it to keep them looking for the NFC East crown.

Kansas City Chiefs

If you were a broad recipient of the free proxy, who would you want to play with? I suspect you would consider playing with the best young quarterback in the game, Patrick Mahomes. It’s a double-edged sword if Beckham decides to join the Chiefs. On the one hand, they’ll give him a great shot at another episode. On the other hand, it will likely only mix in a depth chart that includes JuJu Smith-Schuster, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Kadarius Toney and Skyy Moore.

Los Angeles Rams

There have been rumors of a meeting with the rams since the offseason. Los Angeles has signed Allen Robinson to be his replacement, but it’s not exactly over. Robinson’s final season with the Chicago Bears appears to have been no fluke, and he wasn’t the player he used to be. Beckham will join the cast and likely return to his WR2 role on the team behind Cooper Kupp.
