The Holiday Season Has Officially Begun at Walt Disney World Resort

Gorgeous overnight decor turned Magic Kingdom Park into a magical vacation scene to behold. It’s the start of a multi-day transformation that will bring vacation magic to the four parks, more than 30 hotels and other areas across the 40-square-mile resort.

Sparkling with colorful lights, festive decorations, and abundant Christmas trees, Walt Disney World Resort is full of holiday magic as it rings this holiday season like nowhere else.

Decorated with dazzling lights and ornaments, a 65-foot Magic Kingdom Park Christmas tree welcomes guests to the park as they discover favorite attractions featuring special holiday views, Disney characters dressed in the spirit of the season, and seasonal entertainment.

Ornately decorated storefronts attract those looking for gifts for family and friends. And every night it snows as guests roam Main Street USA and soak up the happy atmosphere.

This year also provides guests with one last chance to experience the holidays during the Walt Disney World Resort’s 50th anniversary celebration. Each night’s special projections will create sparkling, holiday-themed displays on select theme park icons, complementing their transformation into Magic 50th Anniversary Beacons, which will appear seasonally on select nights.
